September 4, 2010. What a wonderful wedding. Truly a celebration of joy, love and gratitude, as Karina and Rob so aptly call this beautiful day. As the wise Hector Rosario often says; these are the moments that really matter. We are so happy for the both of them.
May 25, 2010. Making good on a promise made many years ago, Elisa and her close friend Hanneke spent a week in New York City, taking in the sites, doing a little (...) shopping and enjoying the occasional cocktail.
August 1, 2010. After a wonderful time with family in Las Vegas and San Francisco, we set off along the coast, spending the next three weeks traveling all the way up to Canada. We saw giant redwoods, rugged coastlines, beautiful waterfalls, sandy beaches, dense forests, pristine lakes and wild rivers as well as elk, a few whales and a black bear. What a sight, what a trip, what a great time!
July 25, 2010. Hector Rosario (Elisa's father) turned seventy! And to mark the occasion Carol (Elisa's mom) organized a wonderful surprise party. People traveled from far and wide to celebrate and so did we, of course. As a gift we took Hector and Carol to San Francisco and together with Marianne and Jan (Wouter's parents) and Uncle Sam we had a great time. Golden Gate, Fisherman's Wharf, Haight Ashbury and even Yoda, we saw it all!
Hector turned 70 years old. And that is certainly something to be celebrated. Family and friends traveled from far and wide. And afterwards, we spent a few days together in San Francisco.
Of course, we also made another animated slideshow of the event, which you can find here.
February 20, 2010. One week in wonderful Iceland. A gorgeous, wild country with ice-capped mountains, tall waterfalls, black beaches, gushing geysirs, steaming hot springs, blue lagoons, and boiling mudpots. A fantastic place!
