Izzy is our dog. We got her in the fall of 2010. She comes from a Croatian pound and we suspect she is a Posavac/Istrian mix. Not that we know all that much about dog breeds, just did a little Googling, comparing puppy pictures of common Croatian dogs. Anyway, here are some photos.

| Every Sunday we go to a local beach with a bunch of Izzy's friends (and their owners). This is Izzy, Djoeke and El Diego, eagerly awaiting their treats at the end of two hours of play time. |

| Izzy only plays fetch inside the house. Outside, she likes to steal the ball, run away and chew on it at a safe distance from other dogs who want her ball. |
So, that's our little pooch. A very happy, enthusiastic, wild and mischievous little girl who is, as I'm typing this, tearing up the yard and chewing her way through our firewood supply...
