For N00bs

This page is for those members of our family and friends who aren't (yet) all that savvy when it comes to matters of the Internet. The Internet generation lovingly refers to you as 'n00bs' (yes, it's spelled with zeros). Below you will find some information on how to get the most out of this blog.

Our animated slideshows and videos are ideal for full-screen viewing. To view a video in full-screen, click the expansion button inside the video, as illustrated.

Once in full-screen, hit the spacebar to start the video, if necessary. You can hit escape to exit full-screen. If the video stalls a lot, pause it and let it buffer for a minute. You can see the video continues to load.

And please, don't blame the videos if it takes a long time. It simply means you have a shitty Internet connection.

Also, if you're still using Internet Explorer, don't. It sucks. Time to switch to Chrome or Firefox. They're faster, crash less, and most important of all, they make this blog look so damn good.

Labels
If you want to see posts pertaining to a specific subject, select one of the labels. The bigger the label, the more posts it has.

Subscribe/follow
At some point (we'll tell you when) we will stop emailing you when we have posted something new. If you want to know about every update, you can subscribe to this blog.
To do this you will find two options in the right column. One is for those of you who use RSS feeds, the other option is through email. Simply submit your email address and you will automatically be notified when we post something new.

Photos
You will find all our photo albums on the appropriately named page. On this page you will also find a link to all our Facebook photos. You can view them, even if you don't have a Facebook account.

Commenting
Underneath each post you have the opportunity to leave a comment. After you have typed your comment you will need to select a profile (comment as). If you have a Google, OpenID or AOL account (and you're logged in) this should already be selected and all you need to do is click 'Post Comment'.
If you don't have one of these, select 'Name/URL'. Next, enter your name (ignore the URL bit) and then click 'Continue' and 'Post Comment'.
